Future And Frustration by weirdo-mess Future And Frustration by weirdo-mess
I've had enough of these motherfucking projects being so motherfucking complicated! I can not understand why ON EARTH is everything supposed to be digital! I would LOVE to even write essays in a traditional way, but no. Even every instruction and list of all dead lines must be somewhere in the internet. And they give information about happenings in facebook. And I don't have an account!

The best part is that if you're unlucky your essay can be late just because you haven't been able to 1) find your teacher's email address 2) find a way to put the page numbers to a correct place in your essay and/or 3) find the motherfucking instructions!

Well. Enough of that. The simple reasons to draw this ID are 1) frustration on technology and 2) the fact that I needed a new ID.

Hope you like it. :)

This is awesome and I agree that too many people are trying to put everything into the box that is "technology" or "the internet". What's wrong with having something that's actually tactile, physical, and fucking tangible?

Thank you for the compliment, I'm glad you like it. And I have to say that I couldn't possibly agree more. It's horrible to even think about the situation where you should read a whole book from the screen of your laptop...

This is so much awesome for the composition alone let alone the emotive and humorous aspect. I like that coffee is the one bright light in the frustrated mess of it all. You look like your brain is making melt clouds outta your head. Haha.
Amazing work!

Yeah, I'm pretty much a caffeine addict, so I just have to draw at least a cup of coffee to nearly every ID I have.
I think by that time, my brain was probably making melt clouds out of my head, so yeah. :D
Glad you like it.

Hey... what does MUISTILISTA on your arm mean?

Never mind. Used Google translate. So checklist then... makes sense.

This is awesome. The ID I mean, not the background to it. I think it's really stupid that they give you important information only on facebook. I mean, you can't even expect everyone to have a computer and some people don't like or even disgust facebook (and I think they're totally right. But I still have an account... shame on me^^'). I think the process of making everything digital should at least be slowed down.

Now lets head back to the picture: I think it's a great interpretation of your problem. It's kinda interesting, how frustration can cause such great things. The left Arm looks a bit flat because of the text. By the way: Is that finnish? What does it say? (google translator says it means 'black list', but that doesn't really make sense. So maybe 'dead line' or something like that?)

Firstly, I must thank you for such a great comment, I really like to know how people react on my drawings so comments are always making my day. ^^

And yeah. Some of the information is indeed ONLY in the facebook, and some of the information is also somewhere else, but to someone like me, who isn't that good with technology, completely impossible to find. And yes, it is stupid.

As for the picture, you're quite right, there isn't trusting into the Google translator. "Muistilista" is indeed finnish and basically means "to-do-list", so you get pretty close with your guess. :D

What comes to the hand being flat, I'm afraid I do that kind of mistakes a lot. I'm quite inspirational artist, so I draw what ever pops into my mind. If I have an idea for drawing before I start drawing, it usually ends up terrible, so I just go with the flow. This though is the main reason to these mistakes. I drew this picture to reflect my frustration and while being so frustrated, I also went a bit careless. :I

Thank you for all the compliments and comments all together. ^^
